Dusty... but coming together!

Our vintage wheelchair is a classic reminder that even back in the 1800's 
not everyone moved about the same way. 

This project is being constructed to demonstrate how a house would have been improved over time to accommodate the needs of all the occupants
 so they could remain active and contributing members of the family.

While the ramp does not currently meet ADA standards, it was built with studs from an 1895 rehab I did prior to this one.  I am pretending it is what Great Great Great Grandpa Bernard built for his bride when her hips got so bad she couldn't walk anymore....
